Thank you for paying a visit to my blog. I hope that in the days, weeks, months, or even years to come we may forge a blog relationship dedicated to nature and its beauty.

Blackcap.
We had never seen blackaps in our garden before January of this year and we have been here since 1987. Both male and femail visited and stayed until the snow had cleared. Perhaps the ordinary bird seed drew them or mealworm even niger seed, whatever, it was good to provide for their needs. They also gave me the opportunity for a few photographs through our back window.
I love the beautiful birds you have photographed!! Thank you for the comment on my blog, regarding my new hobby of painting! :) It is neat to meet new people via blogging. A couple years ago a mom of four found my blog and we have actually met up by accident since we live near to each other!! My folks (who you saw in the photos on my blog) love visiting your country. My husband and i have had the honor of visiting the UK before as well. We actually met each other in your general neighborhood of the world :), in Sweden while attending Bible school there. :)
At seventy one years of age I still enjoy life and the reason it was given. In my early years I was addicted to sport and our local Methodist youth club. Later I became an evangelist and pastor. In the 80s my wife June started bird watching followed by me about three years ago. This enabled me to re-engage with one of my earlier interests- photography. I love reading and have had a number of things published and I still follow Doncaster Rovers. We have two daughters, Ruth and Heather, a son in law Neil and two grandchildren, Megan and James. We live in Maidstone now, have done since 1987.
